Research Interest

I am interested in how attention guides visual perception, with a particular focus on how anticipation influences temporal attention and shapes performance. More broadly, my research aims to better understand how our brains prepare for and respond to the dynamic world around us. At the Brain and Cognition Lab, I plan to use a range of methods, including behavioral and brain imaging techniques, to explore these processes.

Prior Experience

Before joining Yale, I studied cognitive science at Barnard College, Columbia University, graduating summa cum laude. During my junior year abroad at Pembroke College, Oxford University, I worked with Dr. Samuel Recht on metacognition and attention. In my senior year, I conducted research on natural scene detection in Professor Michelle R. Greene’s Visual Cognition Lab.

Personal Interests

In my free time, I enjoy experimenting with cocktails and I share a passion for corn 🌽 with Dani at the lab. I also have a cute cat named Tutu!
