Research Interest

I am broadly interested in the computational principles underlying higher-level human cognitive functions, including attention and memory. My research integrates experimental techniques in neuroscience with computational tools such as neural-network models. By strengthening bidirectional connections between neuroscience and artificial intelligence, the ultimate goal of my research is to advance our understanding of the brain and develop more intelligent AI systems that can benefit humanity.

Prior Experience

I started my PhD at the University of Oxford before I moved to Yale. Prior to graduate school, I was an undergraduate studying psychology and computer science at Tsinghua University.

Personal Interests

Traveling, running, hiking, and playing tennis. Also a fan of sci-fi, photography, and piano music.
