Research Interest

Diana’s research broadly focuses on attention, perception, and memory. She has explored the cognitive mechanisms behind visual search and the flexible top-down control in perception and memory. She is interested in both the neural and cognitive processes involved during tasks and employs techniques such as fMRI and eye-tracking in her research.

Prior Experience

Before joining the Brain and Cognition Lab as a postgraduate research associate, she served as an undergraduate research assistant at Joy Geng’s Lab and wrote her undergraduate honors thesis.

Personal Interests

Outside of academia, Diana dedicates time to practicing the Pipa, a traditional Chinese musical instrument.
